Anigozanthos hybrid ‘Regal Velvet ™’ PPAF
An evergreen strap leafed perennial with very dense foliage 18 to 24 inches tall.
This landscape hardy selection from Keith Oliver has flowering stems 3 ˝ to 4 ˝ feet tall bearing green to pale red flowers in spring and early summer.
Like other kangaroo paw in the Velvet Range, Regal Velvet was bred for improved cold hardiness and ink spot tolerance which makes it ideal for low maintenance landscapes. Also, its compact foliage is far better at out competing weeds in the garden when compared to many common kangaroo paw.
Attracts hummingbirds.

- Hardy and evergreen to about 25 degrees F and will re-sprout after being knocked down by temperatures as low as 20 degrees F.
